We hope that JERAMI can motivate and provide solutions to regions to resolve the problems faced in implementing immunization programs and data input.

Jakarta (ANTARA) –

The Ministry of Health held the “ASIK Immunization Friday” (JERAMI) event to promote routine data recording in the Sehat Indonesiaku Application (ASIK) as part of efforts to increase routine immunization rates this year.

In a statement received in Jakarta, Wednesday, the Director of Immunization at the Ministry, Prima Yosephine, said that recording immunization services through the application will begin in 2023. She added that with this application, the public can access their immunization data quickly and in real time.

He said, based on ASIK, until the third week of June 2024, complete immunization coverage for babies had only reached 20 percent, complete immunization for toddlers (toddlers) 15.7 percent, and new antigen immunization (PCV2) 16.3 percent.

Furthermore, tetanus immunization (T2+) reached 8.4 percent, he added. According to him, all these statistics are below the target of 50 percent set in the first semester (first six months) of 2024.

Therefore, he said, all immunization staff at community health centers and posyandu are encouraged to provide better services and record all immunization data regularly via the ASIK mobile app.

“Through this application, all people who have received immunization can see data on all the injections they have received, and all health workers can access data on immunization services and coverage in their respective areas,” he added.

“We hope that JERAMI can motivate and provide solutions to regions to resolve the problems faced in implementing immunization programs and data input, so that current immunization developments can be recorded well and reported consistently in ASIK in real time,” he said.

To motivate the regions, he continued, every month, 50 Community Health Centers with the best immunization data input and achievement indicators are given certificates signed by the Director General of Disease Prevention and Control.

Furthermore, every 2 months, 10 of the 50 health centers are selected to receive awards from the Minister of Health. The award recipients were invited to Jakarta to receive certificates signed by the minister.
